4. Who is your favourite character and why? Or - Who is the character that you can most closely relate to and why?
Robinson Crusoe is my favourite character due to how he can overcome problems and the human ingenuity that he shows. I can relate to him because he enjoys life and always looks on the positive side of life. He enjoys staying fit and healthy.

6. Is your book an example of ‘classic’ or ‘modern’ literature? You must use evidence to back up your stance. For example; has your book stood the ‘test of time’? Are there theme’s that will transcend time?
My book, Robinson Crusoe has been labeled a classic for the following reasons:
1. Many Generations have read and enjoyed it.
2. It has a popular theme embeded in it (survival/adventure). Survival/adventure is one of the most popular themes for readers and it will be for a long time!!!
My book is a example of 'Modern Literature.
1. It has recently been published.
2. It has evidence of modern literature, such as slang.
7. After reading the book, write a short note to a friend describing the book. Include a description of the genre, setting and difficulty level. You need to also include the following information; What were the main themes in the book? What was the central conflict? How was it resolved? Describe your feelings towards the novel. Did you enjoy it, why or why not? Did you find it easy to get into? Did you like it the more that you read it? Would you read more books by the same author, or of a similar genre?
In Robinson Crusoe the genre is adventure. It has a lot of suspense and excitment. It is set on a deserted island with a tropical surrounding. The island is quite big with areas that Robinson didn't even venture. It wasnt that difficult at all, but there were one or two words like providence for example that I just needed confirmation on.
The central conflict was that cannibals kept on coming and going trying to kill Robinson and the other conflict was that Robinson just had to stay alive on the Island.
My feelings are that I've read it once and I don't think i'm going to read it again.
I mostly enjoyed it but at some points it got very boring!
It wasn't very exciting at the start, in fact it was probably the most boring start to a book i have ever read!!!
I wouldn't read books by the same author again but I would definately read books in the same genre again.
In Robert Muchamores book, 'The General', The genre is set as adventure/ action. It is mainly set in a fake warzone near Las Vegas called Reganistan. Reganistan is a large, fake warzone set up to train U.S soilders in urban warfare. It is not a difficult read at all because it is aimed at around our age-group.
The Central Conflict is that forty SAS men and 10 Cherub agents must survive being hunted down by a whole Battalion of U.S soilders (battalion= 1000men).
I enjoyed this book, so I had a positive attitude towards reading it.
I reallyy enjoyed reading this book and I'm definately going to read it again.
Yes, I found it vey easy to get in to. I enjoyed it the more I read because it drew me deaper into the plot.
I would and definately am going to read books by the same author and of the same genre.
Bibliography:
Defoe, DD, Date uknown, Robinson Crusoe, Companion Library Grosset and Dunlap, New York.
Paragraph:
Looking at the cover it looks like a great adventure on a deserted island. Just looking at the cover makes you want to read it.
I think it will be about Robinson Crusoe and how he survives a shipwreck and living on an island. Looking at the weapons he is carrying, ( Two Rifles and a cutlass) it prompts me to think that there is great danger on the island. I think in the end, Robinson will get rescued and return to England
First Chapter:
He was but a skinny, fresh water sailer after adventure on the high seas.
